What to do at the Weekend: Go for Bottomless Brunch in Birmingham
You can’t beat a bottomless brunch (or lunch)! So, we’ve put together this list of some our favourite bottomless brunch spots in Birmingham.
Delicious food combined with unlimited alcohol…count us in.
Our Favourite Bottomless Brunch Spots in Birmingham
Between the two of us, we’ve done our fair share of bottomless brunches over the years.
Only about 40 minutes from where Tanith lives in Staffordshire is England’s second city – Birmingham.
A hub of great food and drink spots, Birmingham has a variety of cuisines to choose from.
This makes it the ideal place to head to for a bottomless brunch.
There’s something for every palette.
If you’re after a bottomless brunch in the city, it can be hard to know where to go.
A quick search will bring up so many options!
So, here we’ve summarised a few of the fantastic bottomless brunch spots Birmingham has to offer.
This by no means rules out any of the other locations available.
We’re slowly working our way through them and will no doubt be adding to this post in the coming months and years.
The Pineapple Club Bottomless Brunch
If you’re after a tapas-style bottomless brunch then The Pineapple Club is a great option.
Located in the Great Western Arcade, The Pineapple Club is a fairly small venue.
The tables aren’t too crammed in which is nice – as smaller locations can often make you feel like you’re part of the table next to you.
It provides a lovely atmosphere for a catch-up with friends.
As with most places these days, The Pineapple Club has highly ‘instagramable’ decor.
The green and pink colour palette looks great on photos (which is obviously of great importance when you write a blog)!
What is included in The Pineapple Club’s Bottomless Brunch?
Both the food and drinks at The Pineapple Club were delicious!
The tapas style means you can pick several food choices to get stuck into.
They also give you standard and upgrade options for your bottomless drinks, allowing you to switch things up if you fancy it.
For £35 per person, you have 90 minutes to enjoy your session.
Delicious Food
In terms of food, you can pick from either two small plates and one side, or two sides and one small plate.
The small plates aren’t massive (as the name suggests), but what we went for was packed full of flavour!
We went with beef meatballs in a delicious tomato sauce, and a Columbian empanada filled with chorizo and mozzarella and served with a sweet chili dip.
Other options include a roasted butternut squash taco, grilled chicken skewers and South American arepas to name a few.
You can see the full menu here.
Bottomless Drinks at The Pineapple Club
As standard, when you book a bottomless brunch at The Pineapple Club you can choose from either prosecco or draft beer.
If they don’t tickle your fancy you have the option of upgrading your drinks choice.
For an additional £5, you can go for the bottomless gin where you can choose between six gin flavours and mixers.
Or, if you want to go all out, you can pay an additional £10 and go for a selection of cocktails.
As we love prosecco, we just stuck with the stand option which suited us just fine.
Keeping your glass full
The waiting staff at The Pineapple Club were very attentive, and you didn’t have to wait long to have your glass refilled once it was empty!
The food came quickly after ordering, and – even though we had to move off our table for newcomers after our 90 minutes – the staff kindly moved us to some bar seats so we could enjoy the rest of our drinks without feeling the need to rush.
Aluna Bottomless Brunch
Situated on the canalside to the back of the Mailbox, Aluna is a cocktail bar and pan Asian restaurant.
With chic decor, here you can tuck into a tasty bottomless brunch as you look out over the cut (or the canal to those no from the area)!
Aluna’s bottomless brunch definitely leans more towards the ‘brunch’ vibe in terms of the food, with waffles and traditional breakfasts on the menu.
How much does Aluna’s Bottomless Brunch Cost?
Slightly better value for money than The Pinapple Club, you can enjoy bottomless brunch at Aluna for £29.95 per person.
As standard, you get prosecco included in your package, however again you have the option of upgrading to cocktails – which comes in at £37.50 – if you so wish.
Alongside your drinks – which they love to keep full – you get one main and one dessert within the price.
Food Choices at Aluna
As mentioned before, the food at Aluna includes some delicious breakfast-style options.
For your main, why not go with buttermilk chicken and waffles topped with crispy bacon and maple syrup (yum)!
Or, how about eggs florentine or smashed avocado on toast?
If you want something with more of a lunch feel, the grilled chicken club sandwich served on sourdough bread and served with fries could be a great choice!
One of the best bits about the Aluna bottomless brunch is that dessert is included!
Here you can go for a chocolate brownie with ice cream, sweet waffles topped with banana, ice cream and caramel sauce, pancakes or cheesecake.
Our mouths are watering just writing this!
Ideal location
Being right on the canal, Aluna has a lovely location.
Once you’re finished there, you can take a leisurely stroll along the waterside and take in some fresh air (often needed after unlimited alcohol)!
Or, if you want to continue your session, there are numerous bars in the vicinity where you can pop in for more drinks.
Siamais Bottomless Brunch
To enjoy a taste of Thailand, Siamais is the place to go!
Situated in Brindley Place, Simais once again isn’t too far from Birmingham’s famous canal network.
As a location, Brindley Place is a hub of bars/restaurants, meaning – similarly to Aluna – you can keep the drinks flowing once your bottomless brunch is done.
What is included in Siamais’ Bottomless Brunch?
Here, you also get two courses included within your bottomless brunch package.
For £32.50, you get a 90 minute sitting with a starter and main, and unlimited prosecco or mimosas as standard.
If you’re feeling hungry, you can add on a dessert for an additional £3.95 – not too bad at all if you ask us!
As with most bottomless brunch places, if prosecco isn’t your thing, you can also switch out your drinks options to pornstar martinis and cosmopolitans by paying £39.95 rather than the usual £32.50.
This is definitely one of the cheaper cocktail upgrades we’ve seen.
Food Choices at Siamais
The food at Siamais is of a really high standard and packed full of flavour.
At some bottomless brunches, you often find that the food is second to the alcohol, meaning the portions are small and you can often leave still wanting more to eat!
This isn’t the case here.
The portion sizes are great, and because most of the meals are either rice or noddle based, there is something sturdy to soak up the booze.

Some of the starter choices include satay chicken, salt and chili prawns, crispy duck salad and vegetable spring rolls.
For your main course, you can pick between seven options, such as masaman curry, pad thai or sweet and sour chili chicken to name just three.
Yum to all of those!
The one downside with Siamais (and Tanith has been there three times), is that it can get quite rowdy.
No idea why here of all places…but by the middle of the afternoon, the place is packed and extremely loud.
You can do the bottomless brunch at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm, so we’d recommend going for the earliest slot.
I (Tanith) did this the last time and it was much better – plus as it was quieter, the staff were super attentive and your glasses always remained full!

Las Iguanas Bottomless Brunch
For some tasty Latin American flavours, Las Iguanas have you covered.
A national chain, this bottomless brunch option isn’t just limited to Birmingham (hooray)!
However, in Birmingham city centre itself, you have three locations to choose from.
Temple Street (super handy for access from New Street Station), Brindley Place and the Arcadian Centre.

What does Last Ignuanas’ Bottomless Brunch include?
Due to the nature of the food, the bottomless brunch at Las Iguanas is another where you generally don’t leave hungry.
For £29.95 per person, you get a two-hour sitting (30 minutes longer than the other three spots we’ve mentioned) to enjoy your meal and drinks.
Although you only get one course here, the types of food on offer give you more of the standard portion on your plate – rather than reducing what you get for the bottomless brunch package.

There is quite a big variety of food choices available on the Las Iguanas bottomless brunch menu.
Some of the options include chili con carne bowls, burgers, curry bowls, and tacos.
For a little extra, you can also pay an additional amount for a side.
If you fancy something sweet to finish your meal, there is the option of paying £5 for any dessert on their a la carte menu.
The Bottomless Drinks at Las Iguanas

Unlike a lot of places, at Las Iguanas you can actually mix and match your drinks throughout your bottomless brunch sitting.
From prosecco or beer, to a wide selection of cocktails including long island iced tea, Caipirinha, Cuba libre, and Pina Coladas.
There are actually a total of 12 cocktails on offer.
Plenty to keep you going for a couple of hours!
